Yes, On his day Safri can provide most of what you said. The trouble is , it happens very rarely indeed and most people who idolise the man remember his one and only past glory of a 30 yarder a couple of years ago, rather than weigh up his present contribution.

As i said before, i dont dislike the man. He'd be in my X1 ( only by virtue of the crap in the rest of the squad) but no way would i consider him to be our 'backbone' or 4th best player.

We'll see, i just hope he proves me wrong, rolls up his sleeves and show a bit of bottle. I cant see it though somehow.
