Not yet, no, that wasn't the plan. The plan was that I'd give it 2 to 4 months to make sure she wasn't going to turn up on my doorstep crying her eyes out 'cos she hated it - and also so I could provide whatever financial support she needs etc. Then, all being well, I could think about shuffling south myself.

Thing is, it's occurred to me since that a 44-year-old might not have things as easy as all that: so I'd have to actually look for work before moving, rather than happily wander down there and trust to luck - which tends to be my instinct.......
