This bit stuck out for me...

"You don't tend to see black players on the courses". It's not going to change if the black players don't take the courses is it? I think that's the wrong attitude.

I'm sure that there is still racism in football, but i'm also sure that the amount of qualified white coaches outnumbers the amount of black coaches by a considerable amount. That's the stat they should look at, not comparing it to current players (who may not even want to coach).

Also, what's the problem with Paul Ince 'only' getting a job at Macclesfield. Who many succesful managers have started at big clubs? If he (or any other black coach) does well and still gets overlooked then I think race is obviously more of an issue.
