i think that religious buildings are as important as museums or libraries or parks. A lot of people don't like art, books or trees, but that doesn't mean the rest of us should be deprived. Here in France, i see the intolerant nature of the french, with their refusal to allow any schoolkids to wear religious items all the time. If i think back to my school in england where the sikh taught everyone to tie turbans, a lot of girls had those spots on their foreheads and my mate Atheer who grew a beard at 15, i think it helped me to become a lot more open minded about the nature of 'the truth' than if all these things had been hidden from view.
