Now & Then...

Favourite player currently playing is Henry. For me, his moods and little nuances just make him even more worth watching.

From my early days of watching football (early 70's onwards) the players I always used to enjoy watching were Gerd Muller, Ruben Ayala, Rivelino, and, in this country, Gordon Hill (remember him?) when he was at Man Utd. At Norwich it was always Kevin Reeves.

Never really saw much of Pele. Duncan Edwards and Tom Finney were reckoned to be special as well. Guess I have to go for Platini as my all time favourite, he was brilliant in Euro 80 (?) for France and that semi final against Portugal.....what a game!
