scoring from free-kicks in that position ?

I remember some vague statistic a foo yare back that pre-Chelsea Gianfranco Zola was the most accurate, with 1 in 3 being on target.

OK, you can wallop it straight at the keeper every time and improve that statistic, but if you are really trying to put the pace and bend on a free kick which will get you a goal at that level, the percentages are pretty damn low.

Especially under that pressure.

And don't forget the bloke had almost played Greece on his own that day.
