Good second half performance, but the first half my god.
It was clear Dion got injured early on and his attempts to run it off the were in vain, but that was nothing compared to the blow inflicted on the team when Thorne came on. I think he pulled a muscle whilst runnning onto the pitch and he clearly couldn't run for anything after that, I could be wrong but I don't think he actually touched the ball.
McVeigh came on at half time and was a revelation, the best game he's played for years, good touch, great flicks always available for the ball, just like he used to be. Why the f**k can't he play like that every week.
Chris Brown worked hard but was crap, he missed a golden chance when he put a free header wide from 6 yards and that just about sums up his aerial ability, there is very little correlation between where the ball ends up compared to where it was intended to go.
Why Martin was put out wide left only Grant knows, I'll look forward to his expalantion.
My MOM was Lappin, he was in the game a lot more than on saturday and he delivered some quality crosses and corners, Fotheringham looked good on the ball but no one else appeared to be on his wavelength.
I reckon Marshall would have saved the first goal so if he's out for a long spell we desparately need a new loan keeper.
Crof hit the post yet again but to be honest a draw would have flattered us, not that North End were much better.
A final word on the crowd, 11,000 hold your heads in shame PNE fans, about 450 from Norwich and no moaning daytrippers complaining about fans standing up when it got exciting.
