Help needed from people for charity event (thats a little different to normal).....

Sorry for the blatant drumming up of support but here goes anyway....

This summer i am part of a team attempting to complete the Mongol Rally. Basically we will be travelling from (starting at norwich) London to Ulaan Baatar, the capital of Mongolia. In a car of under 1000cc. We are trying our best to get hold of a Fiat Panda 4x4 but these are apparently now collectors items! Otherwise any sort of car will do (*as long as the engine is under 1000cc*). There is no support team and lets say that the more i consider this, the more i begin to regret agreeing to take part!

What we need is the help of wonderful people and companies. We aim to raise as much as possible for the charities involved (Send a cow and CAMDA) but need help!

Basically we need

* A car! as i said we are searching at the moment, but if anyone has any contacts or ideas then please get in contact.

* the help of a mechanic/mechanically minded people to help us do up the car and show some useful mechanic tricks.

*Sponsorship from companies and people. The car will be plastered with the names etc of those that helped!

*Any kit to help the journey!

* Any offers of help/ideas etc!
