"Perceived"... why do people bang on about perceived lack of effort

Its not bloody perceived its blatantly obvious! Initially I thought I was missing something and even moved to the opposite end of the ground last night to check. Its stark in your face reality and he has been like it bar one game this season..
Saddens me however that Grants "perception" will be different. Arrrrrrrrrggggggggggghhhh!
