Couldn't wear yellow shirts in the first game at Bloomfield Road

Had to wear a hybrid strip of the away shirt, plus, and this is a bit XXL of me noticing, a green short a la the home kit with, get this, *white* trim instead of yellow.

You can't get them shorts - the green ones in club shop are the home ones with yellow trim.

Isn't it the match official's responsibility to say if the visiting team can/can't wear thier first chioice kit?
