I'm impressed that most of us haven't fallen for the Mail/Express scare stories.

Oh and it's worth pointing out that the real cost of motoring (taking into account wage and price inflation) has fallen by almost 20% in the last couple of decades.

Jacking the price up is the only thing we bastard motorists will actually respond to.
