can't believe the FA Cup would make any difference to anyone

the most it is likely to mean is 2 or 3 extra games over the remaining course. If you can't afford to loan someone out simply because of a handful of extra games then surely you can't afford to loan them out at all. The 'FA Cup excuse' is, and always has been, total bollocks.
