Do foxes climb about on stuff like cats do?

Bear with me.

So I go out to the ole chariot this morning, and there's a trail of animal footprints in the snow leading up to the car, a trail of muddy smudges accross the bonnet and a trail of footprints in the snow on the other side. They're too big to be a cat's prints, but would a fox (we've got s**t loads of foxes, they hang around the bottom of our garden at night malevolently eyeing up next door's duck pen) climb over a car like that? I didn't think they did that sort of thing, perhaps they do?
