Am I wrong?

I've got the game saved before the final game of the season. Ippo are 5th, Norwich are 6th and Cardiff are 7th.

Ippo are playing Cardiff at home, Norwich are playing Plymouth (9th) away. The points are such that any two of Ippo, Nch and Cardiff can take the last two playoff spots, but for Ippo to finish seventh I need them to lose at home to cardiff, and for me to beat plymouth away.

Am I wrong in replaying that final day of the season over and again until I get Norwich in the playoffs and Ippo out of them? Hasn't happened yet. I've had Ippo lose to cardiff, but I only drew at Plymouth so was 7th on goal difference.
