Signings

Just been on transfer rumours and someone posted we have signed a pre contract with a young liverpool midfielder. i went on liverpool site to check him out and this is what i read:

"Central midfielder Danny Guthrie signed a new contract with the club in January 2007 that will keep him at Anfield until June 2009.

The creative central midfielder made his first team debut this season in the 4-3 Carling Cup win over Reading at Anfield and is a product of the Academy.

The Shrewsbury born player moved to Melwood from the Academy in the summer of 2005 and made his first start for the Reds in the Champions League 3-2 defeat by Galatasaray in Istanbul in December 2006".

now either this bloke was wrong posting this or grant really has got a long term plan!

also linked us to loan moves for myers and konchesky, who is minging but has recently played for england, so cant see him dropping down a league to us. i reckon colin is underated anyway. he always does one stupid thing a game that usually costs us a goal but on the whole is a solid player (although hughes came on and did well sat). he just needs to concentrate 100% of the time and he will be a always starter for me.

p.s. got my tickets for luton at 4.50, must have tried about 6 times today to get through to ticket office, must have well busy today for those season ticket holders who had not already bought their cup tickets, waiting to see the result sat before buying them!
