Pretty sure that was the official statement from the club

Must admit the training ground spat did cross my mind at the time, but how anybody/WOTB thinks that it's actually possible to play in a team when everybody knows a team mate has knobbed your wife must need their heads examining. Could you work in an office with a guy who'd poked the missus? Reckon he'd get a wack every time our paths crossed.
