"Norwich! Norwich City! This little friendly family club": his words at the final whistle at Molineux, as though we're Swindon, Barnsley or someone. He's pompous, patronising and over-excitable in equal measure, and his commentary drives me crazy. The only decent commentators out there are, in my view, Martin Tyler (I don't have SKY: did they bin him? Crazy decision if so), Steve Wilson and Peter Brackley. I loved Bracko's double act with Ray 'Smashin'' Wilkins on Football Italia: he's totally wasted where he is, and should've been snapped up by one of the major broadcasters long ago.

Oh, and I always liked Barry Davies too: not everyone's cup of tea I know, but he'd always tell the truth about whether the game was a stinker or not. Though he seemed to take Italy's progress past Holland at Euro 2000 as a personal affront! And I often suspected him of leanings towards us too: he sounded genuinely gutted on the MOTD highlights when Southampton knocked us out of the Cup four years ago.
