I think Brown deserves a bit more time before we judge...

in yesterdys program he talked about how Grant is asking him to play in a different way to that which he is used to so for that reason I think he deserves at least a few more matches. AAnd as Charles said, playing him up front on his own did not work - thats not the players fault.

As for Martin, I'm surprised he is being talked up as much as he is, don't get me wrong he looks good but I think some people have those yellow and green tinted glasses on that makes them desperate for an academy player to become the next Chris Sutton. He may well achieve that, I really hope he does, but I think it's too early to say and may be detrimental to put so much pressure on him so soon. I guess the experience of seeing Coote, Jarvis and Henderson talked up and then failing to make the grade has probably made me a bit over cautious though.
