I just had some question mark about PG to Carl Robinson

on the news he released Carl, he said he was not the kind of midfielder he was looking for, but from what he took charge the Norwich team in last October, he still had plenty of promising young midfielder, Spillane and Rossi Jarvis, why he did not pick them to have a go? Did PG really disappointed after Carl fly to Canada and hope to sign for MLS so he suddenly had the change of heart to Carl?
