... Both Carl Robinson and 1st Wizard (don't see those two names appearing in the same sentence every day, do ya?) over the past few days! Why so grumpy? Well, because for the first time this season, I'm genuinely worried. There were a few posts on here after the Southampton game predicting doom, which I thought was ridiculous: looking at the fixtures, I'd seen our pre-Xmas run coming, but just felt it had put us out of play-off contention, and didn't think any more of it than that.

The Southend game made me wonder slightly, but the QPR result suggested we were indeed just going to drift on safely in mid-table for the rest of the campaign. Plymouth was a shock; Earnie's injury made me start to peer anxiously downwards; but it was only on Tuesday that I started breaking out in a metaphorical cold sweat. Make no mistake, we COULD go down: and it's that dawning reality which has had such a negative effect on my mood.

That, and I haven't had a bit for a few days... ;-)
