Getting rid of the pish

Fleming gone (not really pish, just 3 years past his sell-by date), Henderson and (hopefully) Robinson. I saw a delicious headline whilst skimming through the deals "COBBLERS(SIC) SNAP UP HUGHES". Rushing to the text I was most disappointed to read that the Hughes in question came from Everton. Ah well. When Grant has dumped Etuhu, Hughes, Louis-Jean, Thorne, Doherty (and don't get me on the subject of that t**t) and McVeigh I'll start to believe that progress is being made.

I have requested an assessment of Lappin from my Scottish spydom and maybe one for Fotheringham as well. Can't help thinking we should have had a go for Richie Foran - he's scored bucket loads of goals for Motherwell and for ?150k he might well be a snip. I will not be asking about the potential new coach, Jim Duffer, as I already know the answer. Pish as manager of Hibs and Dundee, Director of Football for 3 1/2 minutes at Tynecastle with Rix and self opinionated weekly contributor to Scotland on Sunday. Having said that, he'll take one look at Doherty and explain to Grant the many reasons why he should give the boy every weekend off.

By the way, if Robinson's gone, Shackell's injured and Dublin's injured, which poor tosser is likely to have to "partner" Doherty on Satirday. And given that Drury's suspended, what's our back four likely to look like? Etuhu for centre half anybody?
