Jarvis not in ahead of Thorne? OK, OK, I know all the Ryan Jarvis arguments, but FFS,at least he's scored a few goals in the games he's been playing in. He might also have been desperate to prove a point, something Thorne wouldn't be up for.

And what of Spillane? Why didn't he get a game-is Grant another Worthington as regards the younger players-look at Eagles, given a run of games now forgotten, and, whats more, I bet we never see him in the 1st team again.

Spillane is going to be another Ryan Jarvis, everyone was excited at the prospect of him (Spillane) coming through, what three years ago now, however, he remains, someone with "potential" and, as always, it seems the "...time isn't right to blood the youngsters..." Listen. Pro football is tough-if they've got it, they'll adapt. If they haven't, why are they on the payroll?
