a lot of it is spot on though

it isn't the Board's fault that we can't compete for honours or even become established in the Prem. That's the way the game is.
And the simple fact is that we are struggling to afford players now because we spent TOO MUCH trying to stay in the Prem and to go back up last season.
Just because Worthington wasted most of that money doesn't alter the fact that it was provided to him.
The fact is that at the end of the day (despite what teh article says) they WERE too loyal to Worthy for too long, but given the good times he had given them that is at least understandable, even if misguided. But it is another sad fact of modern football that loyalty is now seen as a cue for personal abuse to be slung someone's way.
