and do what I can to keep the Tories out. Only a few more years needed as the average age of their party members is 68.
As for Blair supporting the USA, your memory is highly selective. It was Blair who attempted to get the second UN resolution over Iraq, and although some people hate the idea the USA is one of, if not our closest ally. When we joined the USA, every single national security agency, including the French and the Germans believed that Saddam had WMD. After all, they probably sold them to Iraq.
Given the option of ridding the world of Saddam and his sons (who should have boiled in oil like their victims) or sitting back and doing nothing while the cheese eating surrender monkies sold yet more arms to Iraq was, frankly a no-brainer.
We were shot up by French Exocets and Super Etendart planes in the Falklands, how could we trust them over the USA, especially as may UK citizens died in 9/11?
It is easy now, with 20/20 hindsight to blame Blair for all ills, especially if you are a Tory (who supported the war) and want to backslide in a pure greed for power, but what happened should be put into context, part of which says that a clear majority of UK citizens SUPPORTED the war at the time it started....
