I think it says a lot about Thomas Helveg that he decides to leave Norwich at this point.
- He joined a newly promoted club with limited resources, and had to know that a relagation was a realistic possibility.
- Most of the season he performs in a mediocre manner. One could expect more from a "proven international"
- He leaves the club when the relegation is a fact
I believe that players should have pride in helping the club back up when they are a part of a relegation - especially when they have been at the club for a short period and been a high-earner.
My conclusion to this, is that I'm glad to see the back of Helveg, and hope that Worthington spends the money on a player who gives a damn...
