Agree that we might bot need any more forwards

but these two are good players. I think the main reason for their "underachievment" is that there were high expectations for them, and they haven't turned out to fit into Rosenborgs way of playing football. Their style of playing doesn't suit indiviualists at all, and both of these players are such.

I believe that Rosenborg tries to cover over the fact that these two players never would fit into the system at the club. In addition they have a very inexperienced manager, and i think that may be a factor in Rosenborg's "fall from grace".
