Good dressing room management

They so obviously wanted to get rid that I can't BELIEVE we were stupid enough to pay a decent fee for him. Really crap business sense, that.

I was so cross I actually wanted to email Doncaster (thinking he was probably carrying a Blackberry) to say "Reality check - this bloke isn't very good, his current employers are desperate to get rid of him as a potential bad apple, do NOT agree a fee and do NOT offer him the usual cushty wages".

But I didn't have the email addy, and this board was down so I couldn't ask for it, and Google didn't turn it up. So I didn't, which has deprived me of the opportunity for a massive gloat in a year's time.
