An almost identical Archant piece was trundled out in November '99, followed by a vote of no confidence in the Board at the AGM - which was publicly endorsed by one R Blower Esq.

18 months later and with only a little squad tinkering (add Drury, Holt, Easton & Rivers, get rid of Dalglish, Jackson & those crazee dutch guys) and we are in the Play Offs. Closely followed by a record-breaking season as Div 2 champions.

Every footballing side has its ups and downs. If we get relegated then so be it, we have enjoyed 45 yrs in the top 2 divisions and this might be the catalyst for root & branch change, which is what so many posters believe is required.
