Well if what he was saying to the board about players was demonstrably bollocks why on earth were they still willing to back his obviously flawed judgement with more than a million pounds little more than a month before they let him go off with ?600,000 of our money. Answer: because this obsession with the profitability of pies has led them to ignore what is that the company for which they are responsible actually does.
They aren't just complacent - they're complacent on a monumental scale.
