... Went to the University of York open day for a look around and a few talks and I was accepted for language and linguistics. Basically, I was talking to the admission tutor who asked me what my career aspirations were as well as predicted grades and he said "fine, we'll offer you a place, what is your name?".

Not in stone though, so fingers crossed.
