AGM & New players

Anybody think that they will not announce any new players until just before the AGM tomorrow in order that it may "try" and placate the supporter, so their answer will be yes we have seen the team not perform to the desired level and so we have given PG money and today he has brought in x,y &z?! Or am i just being cynical in my old age.
