... that the situations with Louis-Jean and Thorne are exactly the same - Louis-Jean's serious long-term injury is exactly the same as Thorne's frequent short-term injuries, and of course he has no idea how Thorne's penchant for missing matches with such ailments relates to the "effort" Thorne puts in on the pitch.
Which is why he brings up Louis-Jean every time someone makes a joke at the expense of Peter Thorne.
