Disagree I think

but how do you actually tell between lack of inclination, or lack of ability, or lack of fitness?
Looking at Robinson he, it seems to me, plays like Holty did once Holty's fitness levels went.
Thorne looks like he has problems with his knees.
Etuhu came back early for pre-season training and gave up alcohol. Doesn't sound like "lazy s**t" to me - I think he just can't do it.

But does it matter? Those were all bad signings. And whilst the current infrastructure remains in place it is inevitable that more mistakes will be made. It isn't enough for the board just to blame it all on Worthington - they need to examine those transfers and work out what mistakes were made.

In the case of Thorne it may not be Worthington's fault at all. If he liked Thorne - had him watched and got good reports, and the bloke passed a medical saying he was up to the rigours of Championship football - then in all probability it is the fault of someone that we are still paying.
If Chris Brown turns out not to be fit enough it certainly won't be Granty's fault.
