Whats the best site to rip music from?

Not interested in scamming it for f**k all but I do want to download tracks and would appreciate your advice on which is the best/most user friendly site as I'm a bit thick. Also, if you don't mind can I have a consonant, one sarcatic response from pants and two irrelevant responses from the top row, thank you Carol.
