Plane crashes near baghdad,

at an american airbase 50 miles from the Iraqi capital. Now correct me if im wrong but it's not really near baghdad is it. within 10miles would be near. I know to america Somalia is quite near iraq, hence the bombings. But i thought the BBC was a little more educated.
