Kazakhstan Prime Minister Daniyal Akhmetov has resigned from his post.
No reason was given for his resignation.
Akhmetov?s resignation will force the whole cabinet to step down.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev is expected to nominate a new prime minister on Wednseday, 10th January.
Akhmetov has been prime minister since 2003.
