Sorry to hear that mate !

Mate of mine got very similar injuries in an accident on his moped when he was a teenager. Took a few weeks in hospital and at home convalescing but eventually made a complete recovery with the one exception that he has to piss twice as often as before (had some bladder damage). Which isn't noticible unless you go out for beers with him cos you hardly see him all night.
