Talk of getting a "big club" in the FA Cup

From what I can remember when we have been in the Fizzy, we've drawn the likes of Chelsea, Birmingham (?), Everton, Sheff Wed, Southampton, etc in recent years and I wonder what good any of those did us ? Nothing noticeable it has to be said.
