while that is true

having harmison bowling as he is now in the first test would of made a big difference.
As would making a decision on the keeper earlier and sticking to it. Faffing around had resulted in neither read or jones covering themselves in glory.

Biggest problems for me though are missing Vaughan and jones. Both quality players who are largely irreplacable.
