I think Fleming did his very best in the Premiership, but what I concerned was Nigel never gave him a rest? I thought we had 4 games in 10 days during the Christnas period, our club captain had to play all of them, we got only 1 point out of 12 at that time, and I think it was one of the turning point of the season if we can do better at that time.

You are right about Helveg and Shackell would be a good partnership and young Shackell must benefit from play alongside a national team captain, but it would not see I think since Nigel will believe in Fleming, and Helveg will leave. Charlie still got the pace but maybe we just cannot two left footer played in the cente half together
