Of course they should!

Should they be out scouting? Will they know everything about every player? Of course not. That is what the scouting system and the manager are for, the second-tier management which deal with the day-to-day running of the business.

The company I work for has a board of people well-known in their respective fields, but I bet you anything you like the know next to nothing about the day-to-day hands-on stuff. That's what the group and project directors are for - they are the ones who understand how things work and they deal with the hiring and firing.

I only wanted to have a friendly discussion with Creo along these lines and he's jumped all over it, presumably cos he's in a huff.
