That's all well and good, but do you really think that is enough for you to now come on here and criticise other people's viewpoints?

Seriously, I've also signed the petition (which is quite irrelevant in the grand scheme of things) but I don't want these proposed changes to have a profound negative effect on my life.

Is that wrong?

What have you done to take the moral high ground and say that your idealistic views are the be-all and end-all?
