G'day cobbers! Cloudy, cool and around 10 degrees in Melbourne right now.

There has been some overnight rain to add to the coldest Christmas Day in Melbourne for 56 years!! Expect one or two interruptions to play today and tomorrow, after that it should be warming up a treat.

We wandered round the MCG yesterday afternoon. The wicket was covered, the ground looking magnificent. A record 100,000 people will be there in a few hours, and a sizeable chunk of the noise will be coming from the Barmy Army.

Off for a bit of brekkie, then it's numerous VB's and some decent English cricket!!
