Of course. The irony is that as far as I am aware, I was the only one

who actually had a colleague whose boyfriend was killed in it. Also had a colleague and friend who was in Manhatten on September 11th. We couldn't contact him for a week and he was 5 days late coming back to work (in a company of only 20 people).

But it really feels different when you're not in the crowd. Sometimes it's frustrating, like with these murders. They all think I'm obsessed because it's the top news story for me, but for me it's different - it's 40 minutes from my hometown and it's something I could end up having been involved in (was interviewed for murder of Natalie Pearman - not seriously, but a 1 hr questioning at home by Suffolk CID with all my housemates).
