Ticketing at Carrow Road!

I'm coming to Norwich for christmas from lovely Lancs and am going to get to what City at home for the first time in 3 years. But found out the only tickets available for the Southend game are single, impared/ obstructed views. Just really how s**te are these seats?

Is there anyway to get tickets for me and the old man to sit together too? (without hiring a box) Or is that it?
