Saturday - just what i expected

Never thought we would win on saturday and actually the performance was probably slightly better than i had anticipated. Still does not help when our manager handicaps us before we start by AGAIN leaving our best midfielder on the bench and starting with Andy sodding Hughes. It wouldn't surprise me if he did that solely because of Hucks comments in the papers last week as if to say "you can't tell me who to pick in the team son."

That and a couple fo other strange selections and substitution decisions meant we didn't even give ourselves the best chance of getting a good result.

The other blindingly obvious point re-enforced by saturday's perfomance is that gallagher is simply not good enough. He gets beaten to a high ball/crosses at least once in every game and i'm surprised it had not cost us more goals to be honest. We badly need to get Camp back in January as the contrast was noticeable.

Grant gets the beenefit of the doubt for the time being but if, after Jan, these strnage formations. tactics and selections continue then my patience will wear out very quickly. If the board do not give him some money to streghthen then my patience with them will run out even quicker!
