Let's be clear about this - The reason we are in our current predicment has nothing whatsoever to do with Peter Grant and criticising his management calibre after 12 games is nothing short of ridiculous.

Grant has inhertited the worst squad in living memory from Worthington and surely he cannot be judged until he has 'built' HIS OWN team.

It is important to realise that this won't happen in January, more likely a mixture of January and the summer break of 2007.

For those that are suggesting we should not have sacked Worthy - Have a word with yourselves, then slap yourself, then think again!

Grant has a better record with Worthy's rejects despite a more crippling injury crisis.

I would speculate that in Jan we will buy/loan a goalkeeper,defender,midfielder and striker and assuming Hucks/Earnie/Croft keep fit we will hold our own but not go up.

Next Xmas would be the time to start judging GRANT.
