These cock ups happen regularly. Thresher's recently sent out a pdf which could be printed off and used for discounts in store. From what I've heard the discount only brought prices down to the same as Tesco.

If true it was a genius piece of viral marketing exploiting the stupidity of shoppers who fail to research prices before buying.
