True Story

When I were a kid, I was on holiday in Enniskillen and at the time most towns in Norn Iron enforced a "Control Zone" in the centres. What that meant was you could park there, but someone had to remain in the vehicle.

Anyway, a Belgian tourist was unaware of this and left their hire car parked in the middle of town and went shopping. He'd left a strange Jonny Foreigner metallic coffee flask visible on the back seat.

The Army blew up the car in a controlled explosion. Try explaining that to Hertz.
