... and thought "We'll be sensible, stick to the white wine, we'll not have bad heads in the morning".

Now, that, I think, is usually a pretty good tactic for hangover avoidance, but it only works if you don't drink FUCKING SHITLOADS of the one drink you are drinking.

We did drink a lot of wine, and yes, I do have a bad head. I've used my last half-day annual leave allowance to book this afternoon of work to go and sit in the sauna at my gym.

But it was a top night.
